Orthodontist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist and supervise orthodontic Technicians and assistants
- Finding problems with a patient's teeth & oral development
- Use braces, retainers and space maintainers, x-rays and or plaster molds
- Planning custom treatments for every individual patient
Salary: $206,190
Education:
- Undergraduate degree
- Professional degree in dentistry
- Post degree training program or a 1-2 year residency in orthodontics
I would not want to be an orthodontist because I am not interested in working with the dental industry. Things like that do not catch my attention.
