Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose Newborns
- Treat Newborns with special health conditions
- Provide care for during or after a high risk birth
- Provide follow up care
Salary: $236,503
Education:
- High school - 4 years
- College degree - usually 4 years
- Medical school - 4 years
- Pediatric internship and residency - 3 years.
- Neonatology fellowship - 3 years
I would not like to become a Neonatologist. This career does not really interest me in what I want to do with my life. I don't think I'm good with handling babies either so I don't think it would be the right job for me.
