 Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assist and supervise orthodontic Technicians and assistants
• Finding problems with a patient's teeth & oral development
• Use braces, retainers and space maintainers, x-rays and or plaster molds
•  Planning custom treatments for every individual patient

Salary: $206,190

Education:

• Undergraduate degree
•  Professional degree in dentistry 
• Post degree training program or a 1-2 year residency in orthodontics 

 I would not want to be an orthodontist because I am not interested in working with the dental industry. Things like that do not catch my attention.

Ear, Nose and Throat

(ENT) Specialists

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Diagnosing and treating conditions

·       Prescribe drugs and perform surgery

·       Keep accurate records of their patients files

·       Making reports to insurance companies

·       Continue education credits every year

Salary: $205,000 per year

Education: Five years of surgical residency

Dentists  Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       seating patients in the treatment area

·       taking impressions of teeth for study models

·       polishing clinical crowns

·       exposing and developing X-rays

Salary: 35,640

Education: Community Colleges, Technical Institutes, Universities or Dental Schools, take the DNAB for national certificate.

Reflection: I do not want to be one, I do not see myself as a Dental Assistant when I am older.
